It has been another busy week with a huge amount of Christmas crafting happening. The children are getting very excited about bringing their Christmas makes home to share with you next week. Preschool has been filled with the lovely smell of mince pies that the children have made with Miss Pippa. It has been very chilly this week but the frosty mornings have provided us with some great learning opportunities. Yesterday the children talked about the icy grass outside in the garden and used their fine motor skills to make marks on the icy balancing beams. They also led down on the grass to make ‘snow angels’. The playdough station has been a popular playing area this week with the children using the playdough to create ‘decorations’ for the Christmas trees. The song practice has continued and the children are doing amazingly at remembering the songs and actions. They are looking forward to their mini performance next Friday. We can not believe we are heading into the last week of the Autumn Term next week; we have been invited to watch the Hedgehogs/Squirrels dress rehearsal of their nativity on Monday morning which we are very excited about.
